Thanks, I will investigate...
You are correct, the LEDs are not replaceable, I am hoping that the connection wasn't fully seated.
To update this...
I brought it to a dealer, they found that one of the pins on the connector was bent, they straightened it and I was good, no charge for the service AND they did the software update

Thanks for all the contributions from those that investigated, purchased and installed their hitch receivers.

I opted for SRG because they were cheap. All I want to do is haul a bike or two with my Yakima rack.

I live in BC (lower mainland) and SRG would not even send here when I purchased. They would only send to Quebec and Ontario. So i had a friend in Ontario receive it and FedEx it to me. Disappointed they wouldnt ship to me directly.

I'll be tackling the installation with the available youtube videos, instructions and information on this thread. Again, thanks very much for the info on here. Very helpful stuff.

SRG hitch installed. Pretty straight forward. Couple answers to questions some may have asked:
1: The hitch fits without having to cut the bumper cover. But you do need to cut the trim piece. I used a hacksaw and it was easy.

2: You don't throw any OEM items away. The hitch fits between the body and the bumper proper. Pics attached that may help explain.

3: The fit, finish and quality is what I expected. Easy and straight forward installation, especially with all the advice and help on this forum.

Thanks again all.

I've installed trailer hitches myself on all my past cars, but I'm not willing to take apart the rear of my new Ioniq 5 for a trailer hitch. I could do the OEM hitch myself, but I'm really not a fan of the look. The Stealth looks great installed, but the local guy wants $1,099 for the hitch installed. Other brands could be a bit less based on the cost of the hitch itself compared to the Stealth. My other SUV is a new Volvo XC40 and the installation is much the same. I may just throw a couple of moving blankets in the back, take off the front wheel and put the bikes in the Ioniq. I never thought a trailer hitch would be such an issue or such a large expense.

Just a bit of a further update on my stealth install. I went back to clean up my cutting on the gravel guard and also picked up some door trim of amazon to put over the edge where you need to put your hands in to use the lock on one side and “set” the hinge ready for adapter insertion on the other - I definitely recommend it if your getting the stealth makes it much less likely to graze your hand on the cut plastic when operating the hitch

Also I discovered a mistake in stealths instructions on the cutting of the guard. It says to cut two tabs off the guard DO NOT DO THAT. Instead the tabs are on the inside of the actual bumper piece, I’ve let them know so hopefully they will update the instructions

Here’s a couple more pics one of the cut out and bike rack in use

Got my stealth hitch installed by a recommended installer. Looks great but the gravel guard no longer sits flush with the car body. Are other folks seeing the same issue? Nothing I can do about it now I suppose! The installer had suggested completely removing the gravel guard but I preferred to keep it on.

I think there was always a bit of a gap there, see pics on post 184 for example. I have a hitch and have a bit of a gap that I ignore. I wonder what it looked like prior to the install.

You're right, there is a gap on both sides in that post 184. I guess I'll live with it! Don't mind the gap so much as the dissymmetry! :)
From your picture it looks like they may have cut the wrong tabs off - the plastic tabs on the inside of the bumper should have been cut off to let you get access to the block. I still see them on your pic

Agree. The plastic tabs on the inside of the bumper need to be cut off in order to access the lock on the right side and the latch handle on the left. This step was not described in the Stealth hitch instructions. I installed 3 Stealth hitches - my I5L and two of my friends I5Ls. I called Stealth last spring to inform them of this error and was told that the engineers would take a look at their instructions. They have not made the correction last time I checked on their site recently.

This is a Curt Hitch which is $267 at E-Trailer. Easy install with minimal part removal, no need to mess with bumper. It's a 2" receiver rated at 2500 lbs and 250 tongue weight (you still have to follow Hyundai's recommendations).

Hello @Flybuddy !

What's the clearance to the ground on this Curt hitch? I'm trying to decide on whether I should spring for the Stealth or this Curt model.

Thanks!
