From Taiwan IONIQ5 EV400 SWVer: V001.001.220307:
1. Turn on FM radio and tune to 107.1
2. Set volume to 2
3. Press the Tune button next to the parking assistant button
4. Go to Settings -> General -> Software Info
5. Press Update button left side for 8 times then press right side 1 time.
6. Password input box is shown, but I don't know the password.

Wondering if anyone has found anything truly useful in engineering mode such as adding/modifying features that might be available in other locales. I'm interested in:
1. forcing RWD mode
2. all windows up on LOCK long-press
3. better access to cameras (at any speed, for eg.)
4. specify max DC charge rate
5. more aggressive BMS while parked and plugged-in

I finally able to get the code for 2023 Indonesian version. RHD and RWD non bluelink.

Follow these steps:
  1. Change media to FM Radio
  2. Set volume to 2
  3. Go to Setup -> General
  4. Tap 7 times on the left side of Update button
  5. Tap 1 time on the right side of Update button
  6. Input 2504 as password
What I don't know is the use of those functions. I'll share a clip later on about the listed menus.

Let us know if there is anything useful in eng mode.

Go into settings to the screen that shows system info and the update button on the bottom then turn volume to 7 press on the screen in the position indicated below. Then turn volume to 3, press again then turn volume to 1 and press again. Should bring up a screen asking for a code.
IMHO you need a 0 in front.. Mine works like this 0 then 7 (right button) etc.

There is no post number 108. It skips from 107 to 109.

I can confirm that the code and specific process showed by The Ioniq Guy works on my ‘23 i5 Limited with the latest updates.

Hi, you mentioned the code and specific process showed by "The Ioniq Guy" but there is no "Ioniq Guy" in the post to which you replied. What specific post and/or video are you referring to? *EDIT: I see it now in a post lower down on the screen.

And I can confirm error between keyboard and brain -- I was using the correct passwords, but not the correct protocol to enter engineering mode. So either I was trying to enter the password for something else, or I hit a dummy password prompt thrown up by Hyundai.

Following the directions in that video correcly, and not mixing in anything in from Europe or etc. has indeed allowed me access to engineering mode on the latest (230203) head unit software. Thanks for the help, as I likely wouldn't have reviewed that otherwise.
Excellent! Could I trouble you to let me know whether tapping the Bluetooth tab in the Module Info section of the Engineering Mode gives you any option to turn off the car's Bluetooth? And, if so, does Bluetooth turn back on by itself after the car is turned on again?

Dealer and Engineering Mode por US version IONIQ 5

Thank you. Just to confirm, this is for the U.S. version of the Ioniq 5, right? Also, could you check for me, either in the "Connected Car Service" or "Variant" tabs in the Dealer Mode, or in the "Module Info" or "System" tabs in the Engineering Mode, is there any option to turn off the car's Telematics, Modem, or Bluetooth? Thanks!

Is your car a 2022 or 2023 Ioniq 5?

Put the view in original (flat) mode and you’ll see all the replies.
This forum noob has no idea what that means, but hey it's all cool -- I see all the info now. By the way, is your car a 2022 or 2023 model year?

You misunderstood. I was referring to myself as "this forum noob".

Is your car -- the one for which the code and process in the video works to access Engineering Mode -- a 2022 or a 2023?

I think you misunderstood. I was referring to myself as a "forum noob" and not to you or anyone else. And there are no exterior Bluetooth waves to be concerned about outdoors (the Bluetooth energy levels inside the cabin of a car are much higher and amplified by the metal structure of the car).

Hi all,
Could anyone who has followed the instructions in Post #128 above and can successfully access Dealer and Engineering Modes in a pre-2025 Ioniq 5 please let me know whether any of the menus or sub-menus in those modes give toggles or options to turn off "Modem" or "Telematics" or Bluetooth? Guessing that they might be somewhere inside the "Connected Car Service", "Variant", and/or "CPU Variant" tabs shown above in Dealer Mode, or inside the "All in One Version" or "System" or "Module Info" and/or "Telematics TEST" tabs shown above in Engineering Mode. Thanks so much!
