As well trying to findout on what kind of hardware is at least for me unsucessful so far...
Cheap OBD2 dongle will read most hardware modules installed in the car, software versions installed, production date of some hardware modules.

Car Scanner ELM OBD2 app (iOS/Android) displays such information in Settings > ECU Identifiers (app needs to be connected to elm327 adapter in the car).

Hmm I'll give this a go, didn't see all the ECU identifier the last time I connected. Does it detect things like Wifi modules on head units?

@SonicSpinner I get a password popup, using this recipe:

Dealer Mode (Diagnostics, Location, Media, Radio, Smart Pure Air Version Info/Update)
  1. Press the Setup button or choose All menus -> Settings
  2. Choose System Info
  3. In a quick sequence set volume using left knob to level 0, then to level 7 and press the right knob, then set volume to level 3 and press the right knob, then set volume to level 1 and press the right knob
  4. Password is 2400
  5. Choose Send
In the IONIQ 5 the "right knob" is the up/down lever, which can also be pressed (beside the tune text). However password 2400 is not recognized, also not 2900.
This method and 2400 work well on my Ioniq classic with the latest TUR software -- I updated it today.. However, dealer mode does not allow for software to be installed.. Still searching for that :)

I have a GV60 and desperately want to auto disable lane keeping assist (stupidly it's on by default every time you start the car in the UK). I'm wondering if getting into the engineering menu and changing the country might work...

This does not work on my IONIQ 5 with the latest (from Hyundai update site) infotainment update.

"Main" version as listed in the .ver file on the update drive:
+|22Q2|NEEV23.USA.S5W_M.V009.001.230203|HM|2023_Ioniq_5_USA|1528|1

I think the generally quoted string out of this is: NEEV23.USA.S5W_M.V009.001.230203

The protocol to get the password prompt is a little different, first -- enter general settings (with volume at 0?), set volume to 7, tap on the title bar, set volume to 3, tap on title bar, set volume to 1, tap on title bar. That's consistent with one of the protocols I've seen floating around; for me, pushing the tune up/down paddle did not work in lieu of tapping the title bar.

However, none of the passwords that I've seen shared so far (8-digit) have worked for me. I have tried:

19500624 (NL) fail
27021427 fail
26031236 fail

The car, somewhat ominously, tracks and reports the number of failures; I have not yet verified whether this clears after time, vehicle shutoff, etc. I'd love to know if anyone has found the PIN corresponding to this latest US update, and also if anyone has seen information on extracting that PIN from the firmware image or update image or whether these come from someone with a friend at a dealership.

Are they required to provide this under right to repair? 🤔

I can confirm that the code and specific process showed by The Ioniq Guy works on my ‘23 i5 Limited with the latest updates.

And I can confirm error between keyboard and brain -- I was using the correct passwords, but not the correct protocol to enter engineering mode. So either I was trying to enter the password for something else, or I hit a dummy password prompt thrown up by Hyundai.

Following the directions in that video correcly, and not mixing in anything in from Europe or etc. has indeed allowed me access to engineering mode on the latest (230203) head unit software. Thanks for the help, as I likely wouldn't have reviewed that otherwise.
