My car was apparently delivered to Perrys yesterday, so c.7 weeks from arrival in the UK. Unfortunately it was not delivered to their Luton premises, but to some kind of storage facility in Barnsley! So my plan to travel to pick it up from the dealer is out the window... too far from Devon. They have said that delivery may be next week, subject to completing the paperwork with the lease company. They have assured me that the delivery drivers are fully trained to provide a 'full' handover (one of the reasons I wanted to collect from the dealer direct), so we'll see...

Hi, I've been watching this thread from the sidelines for a while but thought I'd post some info that might be useful for @Jools. I've been in the exact same situation with regards to my order, from Tusker, colour changed from olive green to lucid blue, tracking changed from in transit to released from factory in mid October and estimated delivery to dealer recently changed from mid November to late November.

Well I called Perrys in Luton just after 11.30am today to see if there was an update and surprisingly there was. The car had become available for delivery 20 minutes before I called. The lady I spoke to said a Tusker driver pack needs delivering with the car but she could arrange to send it directly to me which would speed up the delivery date and I could have the car delivered on 28th November!

So @Jools , if you haven't heard anything you might want to give them a call as your car 'may' be ready too. If it isn't ready, hopefully my news means yours wont be too long.

I originally ordered late December 2021, that order was cancelled by Tusker as they said they couldn't honor the original quoted price. I then re-ordered on the 22nd January this year and have since been in the same boat as you, delivery dates going from, August to November, then to January 2023, changing colour and moving to October and finally a date of 28th November for delivery!

I probably still won't fully believe it's getting delivered until it's in front of me

Had a call from the dealer yesterday. Delivery arranged for 23rd 🥳. Pretty much exactly 10 months from date of order. I never knew I could be that patient...

Just called Perry's, very helpful actually. Car due to them next week (ahem...) and they advised a quick call to check that it's turned up. They seemed pretty keen to get the car delivered asap once it was with them. Let's see....

I've been looking in this thread for a while now just to get an idea of the delivery process. I ordered an Ioniq 5 premium AWD and got order confirmation on the 18th October from the dealer. Had an original proposed delivery date of 31st August 23, then end of May. Spoke to them Friday and the car has a build date of middle of Feb with delivery around middle of July, but dealer did say it could be early. I expect that's just dealer chat and it will be closer to August than early. Be interested in the exact spec it will end up with as things have change since I first ordered ie internal/external colour options.

Hi all, I thought I'd post an update on my delivery, just so others who are getting their car through Tusker know the procedure. I received an email from Tusker on Friday (18th) confirming the delivery date of 28th November and with a couple of attachments detailing their services etc.

I also received the previously mentioned 'driver pack' today which Perrys said they would deliver direct to me to save time. This pack contains floor mats for the car with the Tusker logo on, the number plates (delivery guy must fit them) and a small emergency kit as shown on the attached pictures.

Any further updates and I'll make sure I post them, less than a week to go!

Thanks - by chance Perrys literally just called me to say that my pack (from Lex) has also not arrived in time, so they are also sending it to me separately. Good to know that they provide mats, as I nearly bought some! Are they car-specific tailored ones?

When I saw the number come up I thought 'here we go' and that they were calling to say the promised delivery tomorrow was delayed. But no, it is still on schedule, whoop whoop 🥳

Yes, they're car-specific mats, the label on them reads 'VGroup International Hyundai Ioniq 5 2021 - Parma Flint'. Not sure what Lex send with their pack but I imagine they all send out similar stuff.

Checked with Perrys regarding the plate in case I needed to get some screws with caps. As the driver pack came straight to me, they just fit their own plates, so no worries about a delivery driver fitting wonky plates

So, my wait is finally over! The car arrived yesterday and what a beauty it is I took the car out for a drive after I finished work and it didn't disappoint, comfortable ride, effortless driving and enough torque to throw your head back when you put your foot down! The difference to my Renault Captur is obviously night and day, although I need to stop going for the clutch and handbrake

The procedure yesterday was pretty straightforward for those interested. As I live in the North East of England, the car is pre-delivered to Sheffield before delivery day. The delivery driver called me at about 11.30am and said he should be with me by about 2pm. He arrived just about on time, offloaded the car, parked it, took a few delivery photos to prove it was ok and then signed it over to me.

The weather wasn't great yesterday but here's a few photos of the beauty:
