I don't use auto hold at all, it very not seamless, if you hold the paddle for 2 seconds it will turn off the creep and keep the car still at a light.
I agree. Early on I used to use Auto Hold. Then I began using i-pedal mode all the time. Recently l remembered about holding in the left paddle while NOT in i-pedal mode to stop the car, and now I use that all the time (maybe in the snow I'll go back to i-pedal mode). I find using the paddle to stop the car very convenient and easy. Of course, if you're turning the steering wheel, it's a little more difficult, so I then use the break.

I confirmed, my audio turns off screen stays on, but what button are you pressing? There was one somewhere in the touchscreen menus that turn off screen.
Hey the issue with the infotainment screen going black after turning off the audio happened today when I was going to the dealership to pick up my dad who dropped his off for service. I drove directly to the service bay and the service manager said that was definitely a problem. He recorded it and had his shop foreman look to see if it was something on their computer and if a update was available, but no. He is reaching out to Hyundai.

Updated
  • Issues charging over 32A via AC (Level 2) Charging (This is an issue across all EMGP Cars)
  • Infotainment screen intermittently goes black when pressing the Physical mute/power button on radio.
  • A condition where low 12V auxiliary battery charging occurs due to an ICCU fault which may set the following DTC P1A9096. When a fault occurs, the vehicle may enter a reduced power mode while various warning lights, an audible chime will sound, and large messaging in the vehicle’s instrument cluster will appear, instructing the driver to stop the vehicle. Refer to Service Campaign 997/TSB 23-01-060H with dealer (This is an issues with ALL EMGP cars but seems relatively rare)

Issue: Charging port failure. Only have 4950 miles and the car will not charge anymore (I drove a lot showing off the car to my family). Going on two weeks now and they think it is the charging port. Damn thing almost got me stranded.

This is my first Hyundai and probably my last. Had shipping damage on the bumper which had to be fixed which took 2 weeks ( bad omen should have returned it them). Only had the car for a little over a month and have driven the loaner car more.
Service has been great and I haven't had to pay anything but seriously. One of the most important pieces of the car broke within a month.

Our one issue so far after a month with our Transmission Blue Limited AWD I6....sometimes when we get into the car, we get a loud 'chirping alarm' noise. Zero error messages or warning lights. The chirp goes off after about 10 seconds, and the car starts and runs perfectly. I've asked the dealer and so far they don't know what it is either. I have not yet recorded the noise, but I will. It is not one of the normal bings or chimes the car makes in normal operation. Any suggestions?

I would group this under (Issues charging over 32A via AC (Level 2) Charging )

is the alarm or a long continuing tone?

New potential issue.

When driving through time zones, the screen will not automatically switch to dark mode at night until the car gets back to its home time zone. (Which for me is CST).

Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm sure if I key cycled the car it would have been been fine, but that's hard to do @ 80mph and you're trying to make it home.

Yeah pretty sure that's your alarm going off then lol, do you get a little orange key/security light on your dash when this happens?
I will check. But why would the alarm go off when we have unlocked and gotten into the car by the time it goes off? This is an interior noise, not a super loud, scare the bad guys away exterior alarm. I promise to get a recording of it, just doesn't happen with any consistency however.

The dealer has had my car too long to find out :ROFLMAO:. I only use dark mode though. Maps suck in dark mode but maps suck in general on the car.

I just got mine back from the shop today. They fixed the air conditioning. Dealer said it’s a known issue with the AC, and that’s why they are seeing so many AC failures. Hyundai engineers are investigating. And they will most likely issue a recall. Add to list?

Is that you who posted the short clip on Reddit? I heard it and I am wondering if your dealer had an aftermarket system installed on it. In the GV60 forum, there was someone who also reported something similar and it turned out to be a 3rd party immobilizer/alarm unit that was installed and was interfering with the electronics. This was during the "mandatory add-on/mark-up phase" but that ended up being the culprit. Hopefully you find out what's going on!

Erroneous front radar sensor activation when behind Ford(most problematic) and other vehicles with parking Sensors.
I have the same issue often especially when driving in the rain or after a cold night. I would like to turn all sensors off if possible but have not found that setting. I have found that you can stop the sensor alarms if you put the car in Auto Lock.

Issues have been generally non-existent so far, though there are a few annoyances.

The 12v battery hasn't collapsed on me yet but I have noticed the orage dash light on a LOT over the last few weeks. I'm getting this tested next weekend.

That silver band/line/outline on the dash screen is irritating AF during a bright day. You cannot miss seeing the reflection on the windshield. It's almost like the designers/engineers didn't test drive the I6 during the day.

The center brake lights are irritating because they affect (wash out) the clarity of the rear camera when backing up at night. Again, a simple test drive by Hyundai would have shown this issue.

The key fob artist/designer/approver should (all) be fired and then put in prison. lol

The 2-tone paint is unnecessary. My opinion, one single color is significantly more attractive.

The software design and information should show energy usage (kwh used, battery kwh remaining, etc) rather than just a mi/kwh average and battery percentage remaining. If I'm wrong and someone can show me how to get to this info, I'd be grateful.

The recalls/software/hardware updates for the ICCU are irritating. Fix it. Seriously. You aren't Bob's Car Company. You are a $125 Billion dollar company with resources to hire the best of the best. Cutting corners and putting a bandaid on an issue is embarrassing.

That's about it. Overall, my I6 is a great car. So far......
