I switched to metric speed readings on the Nav settings and it also shows incorrectly less then what speed limit signs should say? Is this just a bug in my 28kWh Ioniq? 48 kph signs exist? 😂

I downloaded the software with the Navigation Updater program. How can I install? In the past I first installed the updates, then I copied the maps to the SD. is that still the way to do it? Because the standard SD card in my Ioniq is only 16Gb I think.. Or do I have to use a bigger (32Gb) SD card from now on?

Second question, I read people have problems displaying the correct speed limit.. is this a bug?

Regards from The Netherlands

the standard org SD card from hyundai is 32 gb. at least mine is.
you can now place both software and maps into 1 sd card. So the root of your SD card must look like this

33924

slide it into the car and press update. once its done, it i will update and load the new maps too.
i dont have any bugs with speed limits signs in the nordic. Must be something Uk related.

OK I will look if I have a 32Gb card (Netherlands). Why was is not possible in the past? Then you had to update first, and afterwards you had to update the maps..

it has actually been possible, its because the OFFICIAL update files is 20 gb and Map is 20 gb. you would need a huuuge Sd card. and the reason why the official software is 20 gb is because it contains updated for all different models og hyundai in one.
in this situation we only need for our ioniq, which is the CAVEN_H folder. and thats only 900 mb.

the self updater from the russian site gives you the specific file for your car model. so thats cool

Hello SonicSpinner,
thank you very much!

A question: what will happen, if I will update my head unit sw version 191209, which has AppManager AND IoniqInfo installed?
Only these 2 apps are on it.
Will I brick the headunit?
Do I have to make the factory reset before update in this case also?

Thanks
MN

yo my man. do this:

1. delete ioniq info
2. delete any other 3rd party apps
3. keep only app manager.
4. update your car
5. when its done, hold the setting button, to launch app manager
6. open the full engineering menu, a choose ADP opton and enable ETHERNET
7. now you can install apps again.

Does it work (opening the engineering menu) just similar to the version 191209?
Just entering 210111 on the "virtual keyboard"?
And then entering the actual time + 0111 ?

thanks
yes but you dont need to do that anymore.
if you followed the steps i described. then you can just open the engineering menu throgh app manager. no need to go through the hidden keyboard anymore.
this video actually shows exactly what you need to do
