Can someone summarise how to activate Dealer Mode and engineering mode on the 2020 model?

 

1. Press the Settings button
2. Choose General -> System info -> Version info/Update
3. In a quick sequence set volume to level 7 and tap to the right of the word „Update“ on the screen, then set volume to level 3 and tap to the right of the word „Update“ on the screen,, then set volume to level 1 and tap to the right of the word „Update“ on the screen,
4. Password is 2400 for dealer mode or 0428 for engineering mode.

if its for ioniq 2020 , 10.25 inch screen then no, if its for ioniq 8" screen ( model 2019 and below ) then yes

 

I’d like to see if there’s some possible tweaks to do, notably on the BlueLink side.

Code 6998 doesn't work.
I'm the only one to find pretty difficult to trigger this menu?... it almost cost me 20 tries to open the password prompt...

 

Dealer mode on 2020... yes, engineering mode no. I don't know the code, putting the hh:mm as code doesn't work on this device.

Worst is that it says "Engineering mode" when inputting the password, so it must ve accessed that way. 2400 its only for dealer mode.

No autotest button found in system category on dealer mode.

 

Sorry to dig up an old post but engineering mode code for this is 0428

 

So guys. Any of you have ioniq 2020 who tried to access the engineering menu? If yes, can you check if the menu SYSTEM is there ? And inside system look for the button auto test.

After installing the latest software version.

I don't know how Precise you need to be.

No need, it worked... it seems that it's dependant on how fast and how precise you are when tapping the screen...
It doesn't worked for me using the volume knob at first, so I used the volume buttons from the steering wheel and it worked, then tried again with the volume knob and after some tries and fast tappings, it worked.

For those that have problems with that, try to use the volume buttons from the steering wheel instead of the volume knob, you can be more steady when tapping the screen.

Yeah, I've tried that procedure, adjusting the volume knob and tapping the screen on the zone the document shows, it still doesn't work
I've executed the following sequence and nothing happens: 7, tap, 3, tap, 1, tap.

 

On page 4 is for your car.
It says whit volum knob in center

i talk with hyundai today and i got this.

 

It doesn't work for me... maybe it has changed the way to access the menu after an update. The version showed in the document is sligthy older than mine.
Anyways, thanks for providing this document.

 

The instructions I've seen so far are for the old Ioniq. Still haven't found anything for the 2020 38kWh.

 

Thanks for that. Unfortunately it seems quite different. I tried a couple of different combinations using various buttons instead of the tune button but nothing seemed to work. Please see attache photos.

As you can see it is Australian.
