Really loving the spoiler addition on the hatch. As I approached my car after work it looked so sick. I liked it a lot when I put it on. But its growing on me even more as time passes.

Also they do make the splitter and rear spoiler in Black. Its sturdy enough you could paint it whatever color you want as well.

I took the time today to set the wiring properly on my headlight light bar.

The Diag port is just clipped on, you can use your fingernail and pry it off.

Once you pull it off the metal bracket you can use a knife and pop open the bottom cover that hides all the wires. I have highlighted the Pins I used "Far pink and Black". It is 12v switched power. So if the car is on the light is on. That is exactly what I wanted, always on. You do not want to use the red, the red is a constant live wire, its not switched by the ignition.

Now strip some of the shielding off the far Pink wire and the Black wire with a razor.

Now grab your favorite soldering iron. Personally I use an xt60 soldering iron that takes hakko tips. It can take up to 4s lipo "16v" and works as good as my soldering station in my house. Dirt cheap and freaking amazing. I use Radio Control lithium polymers to power it. The one shown is a 6700mah 4s LiPo, you dont need this beefy of a power supply lolol, this battery goes in my X-Maxx 8S.

Now put some solder on the wires of the diag port, then put some on the wires of the light bar. Then hold each wire to the spot you shaved on the diag port and solder her up. As you can see I opened up the big red wire and found out its 100% always on power. Not what you want.

Now that the wires are soldered grab urself some liquid electrical tape. Not only is it easier, but its waterproof. I use it on high end electronics all the time to make them submergible in water while operating.

Please excuse the rain drips. They do really look bad on these particular door panels, Ya'll know what I'm talkin' about.

These fit super good and don't interfere at all with the door handle!! Again as with all these ABS parts, use shoe-goo as well as the double sided tape to bond it to the vehicle!!

Sorry, nerd specs I forgot to include. The rims are Liquid Metal Splice, around $225 each. Each 20"x9.5 wheel is 5lbs lighter than the stock 19"x7.5 SE's and has a load rating of 1800lbs. Tires are 245/45ZR20 all season and pretty grippy. It does feel nimbler with the lower sidewalls and less unsprung weight but still a very comfy ride. I got a buyback on my tires so that helped out the cost as well. I got $60 a tire buyback and got the rims for a kind of overstock price of $180 each. Out the door with tax, mounted and balanced, rims/tires $1650.

Pictures of the rims on the car look nice. It's much better in person. It's one of the first things people point out when having a conversation now. Ecstatic with the purchase and upgrade.

Well some of the reason we test things ourselves. My findings of what you would call Non-EV Rims and Tires.

I didn't loose a lick of fuel economy and the road noise is the exact same as the factory installed tires. I was certain one of these things would be true, but after a little over a week of use I guess it doesn't matter.

It had 2 6" led bars per rim. This added a 24" under the front splitter, a 24" under the rear bumper, and a 24" led bar under each side skirt. Since the wiring was already present from the rim led install it was much easier this time. I also toned the blue behind the rims down via rgb to match the blue bars added. Before it was more of a auqa. This is a nice deep blue now.
