Wireless Android Auto?

Hi all.

NoI just recently got a 2021 Ioniq Electric. It's awkward having my phone connected by cable and looks messy. Is there any way to use Android Auto wirelessly given the car has Wi-Fi? I couldn't find any options for Wireless Phone Projection.

Thank you

Does the car have WiFi? I've never found anywhere to add wi-fi settings. I presumed it was getting everything over cellular. Is WiFi something I can configure? Can it work with Blue link at home - the car doesn't get the best signal on our drive so can't always be found but WiFi signal is good there.
I've not yet set up Wi-Fi, but the previous generation had it on my Hybrid so I assume this face lift generation will too.

Under Setup there should be WiFi options if it's similar to the previous model. Bluelink uses cellular data rather than Wi-Fi

I can't find any options for wifi. Mine is a 2021 38kWh model. It gets traffic data and that sort of thing, but I don't know if it gets that via Bluetooth from my phone, or from the cellular data.

I did see that some people had bought a wireless carplay dongle which plugs into the usb port so that your phone is then wireless to that.
I'll check mine shortly. I'd be surprised if they removed WiFi from the 2019 facelift when it was in the previous generation.

But I need to have a play around on the infotainment system anyway so will take a look.

Edit: Checked and indeed, no Wi-Fi? That's odd I wonder why Hyundai dropped it on the 2019 refresh.
