My maintenance log said I have to inspect “Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid” at 37,500 miles. I’m confused.
How long do you think the gears and bearings in the transmission would last without lubrication?
You could open the transmission drain and test the substance that comes out.

Exactly, but now I’ve got the point. The fluid is to lube the gears not to operate the clutch.There is definitely fluid in the transmission or it would fail almost immediately. It's a dry clutch though and that's probably where the confusion is.
