For those that maybe interested iv managed to download the official Tom Tom Go app that's able to be used via android auto on the car.
Iv just done the 1 month free trail for now but it's been a good addition.
Bellow are the options offered to me following the end of my free trial.

Here's my two penn'orth: I used to use this in my old car directly on my phone, but I've been trying it over the last two weeks and it's super frustrating (here in Belgium anyway). In the cities it's missing speed limits, restrictions (pedestrian zone) and changes in one way systems. I changed these in the Mapshare reporter online, but it still took two weeks to go live in the map. It seems crazy to complain about that considering how long it used to take between map updates for GPS, but my goto is Waze. Waze is more up to date at any given time and it's free. The only drawback is Waze's eagerness to reroute. I would happily move to TomTom if the routing proves better, but they're going to have to work faster if they want to solve that.

For context, it's probably worth pointing out that I am mainly using Sat Nav for jam avoidance when commuting.
