Hi I took delivery of my ioniq December 1st and it was minus a service book dealer said they would post it out to me.
Question being did other owners get a service book or are they waiting as well?
I will contact my dealer next week to see where it is.

Welcome to the forum Coliiq66

don't think I saw a service book in mine, I think it is electronic records like most new cars now

don't think I had a service book with my 2015 i20 I swapped for the Ioniq

please go over onto the New Member Introductions - Hyundai Ioniq Forum and introduce yourself and tell us which model (hybrid / EV) you have and tell us what you think of it, good and bad points, what sort of economy your getting?

Hi,
I bought my IONIQ hybrid in Netherlands as almost new demo car and I moved to Czech Republic with it.
I also havent received any service book with my car, the dutch dealer said it's electronic only.
However when I went to hyundai service here in Czech rep. they said Hyundai cars officially don't have any electronic service book and they insist on showing the paper version of it. They also said that the car doesn't have any warranty without this book.
So I contacted official Hyundai Czech and they said they cannot issue a copy of the book as the car has been made for dutch market only! I believe that it is nonsense, as the dutch hyundai website is literary saying the 5 year warranty is valid in whole EU: https://www.hyundai.nl/services/garanties
I also tried to contact the dutch dealer again but they keep saying the book is electronic only.
The car is working perfectly fine now, but I'm afraid if something breaks down one day, I will have problem proving the warranty.
Do you have any idea who could help me with this?
