Rear View Mirror is so Dark!

I have a 2023 Ioniq 5 (Limited).

The rear view mirror on my I-5 is very dark, similar to a regular rear view mirror that is set for dimming headlights that are following behind.

There are only three buttons (for controlling garage doors and stuff like that). No buttons that I can find to control the mirror, itself.

During normal daylight, the mirror is dark. Is there some setting that I need to know about?

There is 2 light sensors in the mirror that control the dimming. There is one behind and one in front of the mirror. Check if anything is blocking the sensor or preventing light from hitting the sensor behind the mirror.
Summarize, if bright light is hitting the front of the mirror while it is dark behind the mirror the mirror will dim dark. This simulates high beam from someone shining at you from the rear.

You probably have it tilted too far. Try tilting it up (or down) until it becomes clearer. You’ll need to tilt it a long way = about 30 degrees or so.
