I recently had my Check Engine Light come on. I used my Carista code checker and it showed a P0456 (Emissions system minor leak). I cleaned the gas cap gaskets and reset the code. The CEL extinguished but the code came right back ("permanent").
Took the car to the dealer and their code reader showed no active codes(?). Are they blowing smoke or is my Carista code reader somehow malfunctioning?
