How would you know which model generation those are intended for? Have you tried it?

 

How do I backup or find the existing software and firmware version in case if the new update does not work properly. So I can install my old software and firmware version.

 

What's the difference in the update. Anything significant like wireless android auto?

 

Sorry if these are dumb questions-
1) What is the difference between a PE and non PE model in that software list?
2) How do we know what year models these updates are for? I have a 2018 PHEV limited model (non navigation) in the US and it is unclear to me if these apply to this model or the current model, etc.

Per my post in the current firmware Hybrid thread, Hyundai has updated the Display Audio Software Update page making it clear what SW to install. In your case, click on Gen1 then scroll to the bottom for list and downloads.

Thanks for posting this! I just updated my car. I wish there was a version history to see how many versions were released from the one that my car had. I don't think it's ever been updated by the dealer and I hadn't stumbled across the websites you linked yet. I went from V9x (can't remember where it was but high 90s) to V108.

 

One annoyance with the new version I'm noticing is that when my phone is connected via Bluetooth instead of my lightning cable, on the upper right corner of the screen all I get is a small Bluetooth icon with what looks like a headset. I used to get icons denoting my iPhone's signal bar and battery state. I'm going to miss that.
