Ioniq 5 Long Term Service Costs

Hi Team,

When we collected our Ioniq 5 in Sep-21 we were told by the supplying dealer that they weren't yet certain on the servicing schedule and service costs for the car.

In terms of 'costs to service' the only info which I have gleaned so far is as follows (and I'm not even sure if this is correct):

1st Annual Service: Optional @ ÂŁ60.

2nd AS: Compulsory @ ÂŁ180.

3rd AS: Optional @ ÂŁ60.

4th AS: Compulsory @ ÂŁ520.

.........so the 4th annual service is the big one.

Does anyone know which are the major services thereafter (year 5 onwards) and what would be the estimated costs?

I suspect there'll be at least one more big service due to the 8-year battery warranty but like most people I don't know.

Regards to all,

SB

I ran through a Hyundai service plan quotation at the time I bought the car, and those numbers look about right. My 5-year quote was ÂŁ60 / ÂŁ152 / ÂŁ63 / ÂŁ469 / ÂŁ66. That said, the dealer I bought the car from (Arnold Clark) could only offer me their own standard servicing plan, which was based on ICE vehicles, and the sales rep actually said that they didn't have an ev plan at that time and therefore he recommended not taking it out! Hopefully come next September the situation will be resolved...
