Hidden Wireless Android Auto Dongle

I want to add wireless Android Auto to my Ioniq6. I know I'll need to do this by connecting a device to the front USB-A port.

I don't like the idea of having the connection to the device being visible - even with the device itself tucked away, somebody looking into the car could would still see the cable and know that something was connected to the car - they may assume it's a phone and break into the car to steal it. Also, I just prefer a clean OEM look.

So, I'm wondering if it would be possible to relocate the front USB-A port, maybe to the glovebox, or just hidden away inside the centre console.

I have done this previously with another car - I disassembled the console and disconnected the USB port from the car's wiring loom (proprietary connector), I then bought another USB port from the manufacturer and installed that onto the wiring loom, then I connected the wireless Android Auto device and reassembled the console with the new USB port and wireless Android Auto device hidden away. This left me with a completely OEM look with the exception of the original USB port which no longer was backlit.

Has anybody done anything similar with an Ioniq6? Or has anyone got details on how I could disable the console enough to get to the USB port?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I guess maybe theft is more of a problem in your area? I don't really worry about it.

I have not seen a tear down, but I suspect there are online service manuals you can find that would describe the R&R steps for the console.

Edit: Another thought, many folks complain their phone connects to the car's system when inside their house. So, maybe just simply remove the adapter and stuff it in the glove box or center console when you park in areas where theft is a concern?
