This is an unfortunate reality of many cars with embedded tech and integrated features.

For example: if you lose your low beam on these cars, go check how much you’ll be charged. LED integrated into the whole enclosure means you need a new enclosure, which is over $2,000 at last check

 

I get it but $1,700 for a camera is ridiculous. When you can go on the OEM parts online and find it here for a lot less.
