Where is this port located in a 2023 IONIQ 5? I can’t find it in the owners manual. Could be, I just haven’t looked in the right place. I’m wanting a Bluetooth LE odb2 device to connect and can’t find one with a USB connection. Any help would be appreciated. I have an iPhone and that comes into play as well.

There might be USB based dongles, but for your iPhone a dongle that uses Bluetooth LE to communicate is what you need. The one I got for use with my iPhone was on a list of compatible dongles listed for A Better Route Planner.

The ODB2 connector on your car is just under the dash between the steering wheel and the driver side door.

I just looked at the adapter I use. It is a Vgate iCar Pro. There is a sticker on the side that says “BLE4.0”.

I got it nearly three years ago which is almost forever in small electronics lifetimes so I don’t know if it is still available or if it would be the best choice today. But it has worked okay for me so if it is still available you might consider it.
