Door Handle Protection

For those of you who already have your Ioniq 5s, do you notice any potential for wear/scratches on the door handles? I was, because I'm bad at waiting and thus find myself obsessing, thinking about putting some helicopter tape on the handles for protection. I've used this stuff on my road bike (carbon fiber fancy bike) to protect from rubbing hoses creating paint problems and it disappears while providing amazing protection. Others use it for paint protection from impacts and other scuff-able areas. I'm just concerned because normal cars always have those scratches in the door handle pocket, but this car's a little different. Also, my youngest child is prone to destroying things, so if the probability of damage is > 0.0%, she will break it. Anyone had thoughts along these lines? Lastly, how tall are the handles?

At the risk of re-creating a great deal of angst in this forum, will your I5 have pop-out handles? If so, probably no need for extra protection. If not, and you want to be super cautious, then may be worthwhile. But personally I wouldn’t bother, the finish on the car is very robust.
