I guess they are out of hammers, but seriously I did my C0547 brake lights update yesterday in Hamilton ON and dealer told me that tailgate TSB 23-BD-006H-1 is for US only and they have nothing yet in Canada. Can any of my fellow Canucks confirm this.

For Bloody sake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get some black electrical tape, wrap the silver U on the tailgate where the latch attached, wrap it..............rattle gone. Seriously if you have NOT tried this just do it !
Those bumpers are NOT the issue

I found best place for felt tape is where the two parts of the door panel meet. Solved my rattle. I cut the tape flush with the door panel after so its not noticeable. I did have to pull a few screws out of the door and pop the panel back with a door panel tool. Then put the felt tape down then pressed the door against it and reinstalled panel. Mine would go away with pushing on the arm rest. I could get it to rattle hitting the door with my hand and moved my ear around until I found that was the source of the rattle
Thank you a million times for posting this, Trider. I had the same issue on multiple doors and it was driving me crazy (and of course, the dealer claimed they couldn't hear it). I followed your advice and it fixed the issue. Thank you!

Foam tape strip is hidden under the edge of the door panel. Pretty simple procedure, remove 2 screws and pull on the door panel near the door edge to undo the door clips and ran the foam tape from the top of the panel to the screw hole. Push the panel back in and reinstall the screws.

Have been driving for a few days and no more rattles.

No problems w/ the clips since I only lifted the area near the door edge. If you're concerned, you can use a soft squeegee to wedge a space to insert the foam tape between the door card and door. Just enough space to slip in the foam strip tape between the gap.

Also, didn't need to remove the adhesive backing. Just slip it in and align it w/ the edge of the plastic door card. This will eliminate the creaking/rattling sounds from the door panel and door.

Any problems with the clips? In previous cars they have broken, requiring replacement

Been 2 weeks since installing the felt tape and noise has not come back. Driven in relatively cold temperatures where the noise was pretty obvious and nothing. Definitely recommend having your dealer or yourself do this to eliminate the noise in the driver side door panel.

It's on my to-do list.
I have applied felt tape to the bottom trunk bumper and after a couple of drives I've not heard anything. The washers and silicone grease weren't enough!

@IanW18 where did you put the felt tape? My washers and silicone grease have also proved insufficient to the task! Now that I've finally got the door squeaking sorted with anti-squeak tape, I am on a mission to fix the final (for now!) rattle!

I thought I would recap what I've done in case someone stumbles on this thread. A big thank-you to everyone's suggestions (y)
  1. I've applied black tape on the lug that the hatch attaches to when closed:

  2. I've added a plastic washer to each of the screens which attach the hatch bumpers, both sides, and applied silicone grease:

  3. There have been suggestions about using cycle tyre inner tubes on the bottom bumpers, and using felt tape to silence door rattles. I have combined the ideas to put tape around the bottom bumpers (just the right bumper so far since that's where my rattle/squeak is coming from). Tape used was recommended by this video:
So I bought this tape from Amazon, because it was recommended in the video, plus it comes with backing tape to protect the adhesive: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CI6C...linkCode=sl1&tag=450a-21&linkId=5eb84485ea6870590ab4eff162b9e570&language=en_GB
I wrapped it all around the bumper, and then squeezed the top together.

I've not use the hatch/boot/trunk very much, but so far, these measures are working for me.

Good luck!

This really was all it took for me. And this was on a brand new '25 Ioniq5 N. I was skeptical but worked like magic. How have they not fixed this in so many iterations?

Thanks!
