Hi all,

I live in Maryland near DC and have been on the “wait list” for a while. I am lookingto pay MSRP for a cyber gray on black limited ioniq 5.
Is there anyway to see what inventory dealers are expecting? Any other tips to getting one? I am ok waiting a couple months as long as I know it’s coming. Thank you all for your time

This site is very good at showing incoming cars that haven't been presold. Find Your New Electric Vehicle
It will even show a car that was sold and then not purchased. I receintly saw this at one dealer. The car sold again in 15 minutes, but 2 days later it is still on the site. Some dealers delay reporting the sale to drive more interest to their site.

It is great. It seems to have the same info as the API site but you can select a search area (up to 999 miles) and easily sort for that options.

You talk to Antwerpen Columbia? I almost bought a Lucid Blue SE from them at MSRP but someone beat me to the punch. No idea if the cars available, but might be worth a call. Maybe do TrueCar as well if you have access.

Heritage in Towson also shows one on their website, and is known for being able to be talked down to MSRP, or at least very close to it.

Good luck, I'm personally searching for a Lucid Blue SE RWD.

I have been watching this for a couple of months (and uselessly calling dealers. It is updated daily. The vehicles are real but I am looking at limiteds and they are all presold or JUST MISSED). The same day new ones appear on the spreadsheet, the vehicles appear on the dealer site. 2022 Ioniq 5s Allocation Spreadsheet (Updated as of 8/21/2022) You can see the allocation list update about every two weeks. Out west dealers get theirs, then east.

Which Larry Miller are you guys referencing? There are two: LHM Hyundai on Coors Blvd and LHM Southwest Hyundai on Lomas. They seem to be separate, since Southwest was charging a big markup and LHM was only adding $1k (door guards and window tint) when I shopped them. But both are certified to sell Ioniq 5.

Huh, I've seen those two but I guess I assumed they were the same. I've been in touch with the one on Coors (not SW), maybe I'll try the one on Lomas... According to the allocation spreadsheet though, it seems like neither has had any recent allocations, and I am 99% sure my SE should be tax credit eligible, but if an SEL in a good color were to be available at or close to MSRP, especially in a good color, I'd probably go for it.

Edit - just called the other LHM, all allocations are presold except for one rwd SE which is arriving the same day the one I put a reservation on on Cruces. He said they haven't had anything not presold on the lot in months. Good to know they are different though! 😆 Also, according to the allocations spreadsheet, looks like the one on Lomas has barely gotten any allocations at all of any trim over the last couple months... Maybe the one on Coors is bigger.
