I saw on Hyundai site that a new update became available in July 2025, & my Ioniq 5 shows software version

NE_E.EUR.S5W_L.001.001.250226

Do I have the latest version ?

I assume OTA updates are active? If so, the infotainment system will check for you.

There is also a USB update method, but be very careful if you use this to select the right model. One member here corrupted their Infotainment system installing the wrong software, cost a bit to have the dealer fix it.

My guess is, the build date for that release is Feb 26, 2025 (250226). I think the actual release to customers follows a few months later after system verification tests.

Just wanted to note that, while roadtripping, our EU 2022 I5 received a new OTA update today with a June ‘25 software build date.

the release notes refer to « major map updates » as well as various general improvements, including UI performance improvements.

Couldn’t really tell much of a différence but then again we were roadtripping so had better things to do 🤷‍♂️

so.. expect something soon!

A new Google search bar is coming, better Bluetooth connection and a lower soc when navigating to a charger and better charging predicting of the route.
So we don't show up with more than 30% soc att a charger.
The 30% is reasonable, but why they don't want to leave us to choose the soc at the chargers and on the arrive ? It's a mistery for me, like the not present autolock feature.

If you browse to update.hyundai.com you should get redirected to the navigation update site for your region of the world - assuming you're at home.

One of the options on that page should be Notifications. Click on that option and then click on the most recent notification. Near the top of the resulting page, there should be something like "List of eligible vehicles available to download".

Click on "List of eligible..." and you should get a table listing Hyundai vehicles and their current Software and Map versions. For example, here's the start of the table I see...

Following the suggestion from @Xernus58, the most recent announcement for that region is 2025 Update available for all Models > Notice | Official Hyundai Motors Navigation Update Website dated 09-JUL-2025 and the Ioniq 5 part of the table from that announcement is this ...

So, it appears that your NE_E.EUR.S5W_L.001.001.250226 is the latest version

I think this is the correct answer - My free bluelink period ended a couple of months ago and since then I'm on the 'Plus' plan, but Hyundai in their wisdom, have excluded OTA updates from this plan.

So, for the first time, I've gone through the USB update process using the Navigation Updater app and I can confirm that the version that it currently downloads for the Standard Gen5W is NE_E.EUR.S5W_L.001.001.250226 (this is what I was already on).

So, unless I'm doing something wrong, Hyundai haven't made the latest version available for manual update as yet.

Bugger!
