Got mine hooked up to charge the battery of a small headrest mounted 12V TV, but its only activated when ignition is on (or when using utility mode)
I first tried using a 5V to 12V convertor plugged into the rear USB, but that only delivered 0.8A max, & was also only on when ignition was on.
{[email protected] = 10W, 10W/12V = 0.8A}
So now I've got a 240Vac 'figure of 8' connector (popular in Europe), feeding a 12V @2A adaptor all lurking under the rear seat, which can be readily connected to other mains devices I may have in the boot ie - small fridge/freezer.
