Our brand new 2018 Ioniq Blue is Electric Blue in color (as shown in my Avatar) and we named him "Trooper" because he looks remarkably like a miniature Michigan State Police cruiser and our State Police are called "Troopers" not "Police"...
We LOVE Trooper!!!!
I had two choices of Ioniq hybrids when I got mine.... take it or leave it...... The Platinum Silver Ultimate was the only one at my dealership. Because the purchase was done pre Christmas, I got a good deal, and I like the colour.
Problem there is that the different shades are only available in different countries or at different times so if you start separating them out, the poll becomes diluted an ultimately rather meaningless.

Can't get to supplies currently

I collect my new ioniq this Tuesday and to say I'm looking forward to getting behind the wheel is a slight understatement.

I am coming up on my one year anniversary of owning a Ioniq Hybrid Limited and I thought it would be a good idea to express my thoughts about owning and driving it for the past year. The Ioniq is about to come up on 15,000 US miles. It has mostly been driven in the central Arkansas with two...
I'm often disappointed in the fuel economy when driving around on gas engine only. It seems worse then what a normal gas engine car would do. Is there parasitic loss to the hybrid system that I'm not aware of or something?
