Uk delivery

Does anyone know how deliveries are going in the UK? I ordered the AWD premium in July. Was told October but for the last month update has been the vehicle is built and waiting for VIN.

Is anyone receiving AWD or still RWD only?

Definitely speak to Perrys and get them to make sure it’s tagged in the June potentials list. Once that’s done just contact Hyundai via twitter to see if the checks are done.

Unfortunately it seems that Perrys may be a bit on the slower side judging by some of the responses in this thread so it’s best to make sure they have done the basics at their end so there are no delays.
Thanks i will call them later, just ordered a home charger for installation end of the month
In my experience Hyundai have been far more helpful than Perrys have, whether via twitter or on the phone. It would be definitely worthwhile reaching out to them.
Agreed! So Hyundai UK have confirmed it was delivered to the dealer this morning. So that's 6 weeks from docking to dealer with Perrys @magicmerlin. Lets see how long it takes now for it to be delivered :)

Interesting. So you would have thought that Perrys would have known that the car was due to be delivered to them when you spoke to them a few days ago. I watch with bated breath to see how long they take to deliver it to you. Is yours a lease?

P.S let me know if you get a full set of mats with yours😆

Called up Perry they already have a note of the car's status and awaiting checks, they will tag it for delivery at the end of May or in June, and told me to call back next week to check the status of delivery.
Oh mats! yes i need to get them i want the all-weather so will ask them

Agreed! Yep you would of thought so but suggests even more that they are just giving a generic timescale without actually looking into the request. Hahaha yep lets see what we find out next week and I'll let you know about the mats if I get mine before yourself. Yup lease here, yours?

Fingers crossed you get a date for delivery this week. Once they ring me about a delivery date I’ll be asking about my complementary mats haha.
Yep mines a lease too.

Good news! FYI, if you ordered an Ultimate carefully check the hub caps on the 20" wheels. One of mine was quite scratched when viewed up close on bended knee - a casual glance didn't reveal it. A bit of car polish and one would barely notice, but it arrived at my house like it!! Have raised the point with the lease company

It's taken some effort but I've got a delivery date of next Tuesday. This morning I was told Perry's didn't have my car and someone would be in touch next week. I rang them direct and by the end of the day I had a delivery date haha! I would say the woman I spoke to at Perry's was extremely helpful but it does sound like they're having a bit of a nightmare with of all of the delays.

For the mats, they have confirmed I get some through Lex Autolease (who I am leasing from) but they aren't in stock so will be delivered separately once they are available.

That’s brilliant news. Seems like Perry’s have turned it round in a relatively short time too. Hyundai have confirmed that mine was delivered to Perry’s this morning so fingers crossed I’ll receive a delivery date when I ring them at the beginning of next week.

I still can’t believe the amount of time it has taken from the car arriving at Tilbury to be being delivered to the dealers. 7 weeks in total. That being said my estimated delivery date from the lease company was the 31st of May so I can’t complain if it’s still scheduled to arrive on or before that date.

Ordered min in April 2022 and have a delivery date for the 1st of June. Finally. What should i be checking on delivery?
Called Perry's on Friday. Still no updates, apart from it's still in Tilbury awaiting checks. Im thinking around mid to late June now. That will be approx 7 weeks.
Will call them again in a week's time.

Oh I saw this on the Dartford Bridge last weds. Hoping it be mine!

Ah excellent! hopefully you can get similar to me then and have a date booked in by tomorrow.

Yeh 7 weeks is a heck of a joke to be sat at the compound outside of Tilbury. You do have to wonder whether its the docks cant handle the amount of vehicles coming in or the dealers not requesting the cars quick enough. Hopefully in a weeks time it wont matter anymore haha :)

update on me - I actually received my drivers pack today. So got the mats from Lex Autolease, all the documents and the Car Plates were in the pack as well.

So in an unsurprising turn of events my delivery date has now slipped by a week to the 7th of June. Spoke to Perrys who received the car on Friday and they told me it’s still going through its PDI checks and should be done by the end of the week but they don’t arrange delivery as that’s done by the lease company. Kinto who are the lease company still think the car is at the compound due to delays so the information I’ve been given is more up to date then theirs.

Going forward I’ve arranged with Kinto to liaise with Perrys at the end of the week to confirm the PDI checks are done I’ll then feedback to Kinto so they can arrange delivery date with me. Kinto are confident they’ll got the car delivered for me within the week so there is still hope I can get the car by next.

Unfortunately I haven’t been that lucky with my delivery date yet. It seems the credit hold situation at the dealer delayed things by almost two weeks.

I just want it all to be over😭😂

Nice. Are the mats the Hyundai one’s? When I asked Perrys about mine they said that they should be included from the dealer.

Don't think you can blame the docks. Mine came in on the same boat and I've had it for 4 weeks.

(Direct purchase from Hyundai dealer)
I also purchased directly from a Hyundai dealer. My car is in Tilbury since 04/03. No updates from the dealer. The last update I have was: "I should receive the car in June".

For whatever reason, Perry's send me carpet mats AND all weather ones on delivery. I emailed a few weeks before delivery and asked if I could order the all weathers but had no reply.... lo and behold, car turned up with them so, maybe it was my bedside manner...?.....!
The all weather ones are great, they stop an awful lot of mess and keep the carpets dry and less likely to smell like a wet dog in the winter,

What's their email and how much did you pay as I'm interested in the all weather mats?

I think I replied direct to their fleet team but, their pretty responsive on the phone. The cost is about £97 (ish) for a set although, Perry's sent them with the car FOC! Also worth checking eBay,there's a few sellers offering genuine Ioniq 5 a/w mats!

Got in contact with Hyundai on twitter today and was told my car was built on the 22nd May and is currentlyat sea. They also sent VIN so I checked details matched what I expected/told, and was happy to confirm all looks good. Just got to try and find which ship it was on. Told it should arrive in Tilbury around 19th July so now its the waiting game.
