U.S. may be delayed to Winter

I received the same email and it’s also on the website. Not surprised and I wouldn’t mind the delay if it means getting all the features and not paying a higher price because of parts shortages.
I wish I knew what “winter 2021“ meant. There’s not a lot of winter in 2021. I assume that really means early 2022.
I really wish they would just say “here’s why it’s delayed and on this date you’ll find out more information“.

I was referring to the live broadcast tomorrow.

How many more times can they show the car without pricing? We now know the features of each of the 3 trim level. Now we need to know the pricing and availability short term (for 13 states?) and long term for all 50 states.

Audi finally came out with their info (pricing, specs and trim levels) on the Q4. The Ioniq 5 needs to be next.
Wow, that’s some pretty strong pricing from Audi. I’m thinking Kia is sweating a bit knowing they priced the EV6 first edition at $58,500. Price pressure on Hyundai is a great thing for us!

To all those in the United States but in Virginia in particular I was just told by the manager of the dealership they just got an update from Hyundai USA and now the cars will not be coming this year. In December there will be an official allocation made and they will find out how many cars are coming and who that reserved car may have the opportunity to buy one.
They now do not expect that everybody will get a car that's reserved one in the first batch. That may not be until February 2022 is what they're telling me. So four more months.
Thanks for the information. Sounds very plausible given the lack of updates. I hope they switch to the VW model where I can order the exact car I want. Don’t mind waiting for the right car, but I do mind waiting for information!

I’ve been checking the reservation terms and conditions periodically for this exact change: The end date of the reservation has been moved from December 31, 2021 to March 31, 2022. So we’re looking at Q1 2022 at the moment.
