Hi all good people,
I was doing some research as my car showed EV problem on the dash and stopped dead in the middle of the road, I had to call a recovery and they told me there is a problem with the EV battery.

I called Hyundai and they told me they would have to dismantle the battery to check the cells, will run an hourly ÂŁ150 and it might need 6 hours before diagnosing anything, they made an appointment in four weeks when I needed an emergency help to be dealt with this situation so they said if you ready to pay that amount bring in tomorrow morning so I had to take the vehicle home as there was no any other choice, the RAC guy who towed me home said I should look to find a local EV diagnostic centre any advice would be appreciated thanks.

If the car can be powered up you should be able to plug an OBD2 dongle in and use free app Car Scanner ELM to examine the state of the cells. Lots of info about this if you use Search & put OBD2 in. Post the results here, in particular you;re interested in max & min cell voltages and the difference between these. You'll probably learn more than the dealers will ever get to understand.
