I was driving at normal highway speeds when suddenly the car and steering wheel started shaking uncontrollably. The diagnosis, after visits to two dealers, was that one of the tires had suddenly gone out of balance. Why? It seems that the original Michelin tires that came on my 2022 SEL have a foam lining supposedly to make them quieter, and this foam lining can detach and bounce around in the tire. Result? I paid for two rebalances and ended up replacing all four tires. Not with Michelins.
