The May 23 Nav update is back and available for 22 and 23 Ioniq 5's.

I installed the earlier version (intended for 2022s only) on my 2023 SEL and it hasn't had any issues, but I'm excited to get this installed and see if there are differences or other improvements to the new routeplanning stuff.

Same for Canada. Only that it may not even differentiate the MY22 and MY23 for Canada based on the SW version information.

Anyway, it is mostly likely a bug fix version of the same update.

Beware - it rolls back some of the changes. It no longer lets a passenger type on the screen when the car is moving, it reverted some icons, and removed the AC charge percentages.... AND it turned off the working (and subscribable) Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot. At least on the 2023 the route planning still doesn't work correctly

Well that's good to know. I'll be holding off installing it for now, then.

Well boo... but in all honesty, I didn't get the chance to update when it first appeared so I guess I am not missing anything, really.

Do you mean that there is literally no way to set the AC charge percentages at all? I am currently setting mine at 70%. If this is true then is there a way to guarantee that OTA update is disabled? I absolutely do not want this on my car if you can't set AC charge percentage.

In the previous update, the AC charge current was shown in percentages, now it's reverted to Low, Med and High

OK, so you're referring to current level and not SOC. Got it, thanks! That doesn't sound so bad.

Anyone try reverting back down to 230503? My home pc still has the files while I updated to 230517 from my work pc. Will it work?
I downloaded the May 17 update for Canada and installed it. I also installed today's update and it appears the adding address while driving prompt still pops up and allows me to type the address.
Correction: I double checked my 23 and the AC current still shows percentages, but the routing is total garbage
So a day later (today) I deleted my USB, deleted the downloaded files on the PC and downloaded it again and installed the update again. And now searching/typing in nav while driving is back!
OK, so does anyone have a list of the changes from the earlier release? At this point, is it only that it removes the Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot?

This will be my first time doing an update. Are there two updates - one for maps/routing and one for the UI/Infotainment system? What are the supposed updates/improvements if any other than map/routing stuff?
I don't care about the maps/routing stuff - I use CarPlay w/Google Maps mostly. I tried the Ioniq 5 Nav but it's pointless when compared to Google or Apple Maps navigation.
However, there are definitely some ways the User Interface for the Infotainment system could be improved, though it doesn't seem like there's much in the way of that happening with this update from what I can see...

Nope, just one update. Use the Navigation Updater app to download the latest version to a 64GB thumbdrive and then plug it into the data port in your Ioniq 5. Either the car will prompt you, or you can go to the software update section of the settings and click "Update" to start it manually.

So I just checked this morning and the WiFi Hotspot option is in my Bluelink. It wasn't there right after I updated on Monday.
I completed my nav software update yesterday. No issues, it took less than 2 hours to download from my flash drive to my car. The update includes showing charge stations along a route if there is insufficient charge to get to your destination. I like this feature. I hope to use this feature soon and will post my results.

Amen.
