When the sun shines from the rear left, it reflects into the instruments panel and masks the power gauge. It was no problem in winter, but now during sunny days I have to drive without power gauge.

By power gauge I mean the blue/green/white display on the left which tells me how much power is being supplied or regenerated.

It is a design flaw: the sun protection of the instruments panel doesn't cover the sides of the panel.

I suppose in a British Ioniq it would be the state-of-charge gauge that would be masked when the sun shines from the rear right of the car.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

Nope, you're not the only one :)
I use the current fuel consumption bar in such cases - whenever it shows below 5L consumption, I know I'm driving with 2 green bars.

But I agree, the sun from the rear-left can be a nuisance.
