Hello. I like to drive my 2023 Limited using the "auto" setting for regenerative braking. Each time I start a new drive I find that the level has reverted to Level 1. Is there a way to set it "permanently" at "auto"? (I've gotten use to this and usually remember to reset to "auto" but my wife has a harder time remembering.) Thank you.

No. Sadly, there’s no way to have it keep your regen settings for Auto or i-Pedal. ☹

As @sincladk mentioned, it's not possible on North American cars but is in Europe. Different regions have different hardware, firmware, and software.
