This is not a big concern, but I was curious what the purpose was of the rectangular flap/opening in the front passenger carpet of our 2025 I6? I only just recently noticed it. I assumed it was for a factory access panel but when I lifted up the flap all I saw was the VIN stamped into the floor. Perhaps I didn't inspect it enough. Does anyone know if there is another purpose for the carpet flap? Thanks for any replies.
