We've had our i5 for a little over a year. It's been brilliant.
When it was delivered, the GoM held at about 450 km through summer. As it became colder, the range declined to the low 400s. With the warmer weather, it's higher again.
We do a combination of freeway and local driving, and some town/urban, and there are quite a few hills on our regular routes. I was curious if the range would increase if I limited my speed to 100 instead of 110 km/h on motorways and freeways. I didn't change anything else: still drive in Eco, use Auto regeneration, and not too much punchy acceleration.
I charge to 100% once a month and since I've been limiting speed to 100 km/h, the range has risen from about 460 to 500 km.
While I may now annoy drivers who need to pass me, I'm pretty happy with that extra range.
Any Australian RWDs in rural or non-urban areas getting similar range?
