Driving in the snow today in NJ. Got message on display that front safety features are limited due to the radar being blocked.
The regen level went to 0.

Stopped to get a charge and found the black stripe across the front of the car where the radar is was covered with 1/4" of icy stuff. Wiped it off.

Charge took 18min.

Back on the road and within 15min it happened again. Not much you can do I suppose. In this situation where the snow sticks and does not fall off. On a gas car there would be nice warm radiator up there to help melt stuff off.

Anyone have a similar thing happen?

Yes, had it happen with wet snow. Was worried at first, but when I got to my exit and slowed down, it must have dripped off because it was all fine. So one of those things that I file under "no big deal". Car still works.

Just had this happen to me (same message) in very light rain, highway driving. Lost cruise control amongst other features. Came and went a few times over about an hour before disappeared once out of the drizzle. Not great that this happens under such mild adverse conditions, exactly when these safety features are most needed.

My MY2023 Epiq had its 2,000km "service" on Friday (at 3200km). I reported the on-again/off-again Radar Sensor Blocked message and asked them to take a look at the sensor. Service guy said they'd found 'numerous' error messages relating to the radar sensor and had cleared those and they didn't return....which he seemed to think had 'fixed' the issue! The car has been driven in rain several times since my first and last experience of this, without the problem recurring. We shall see...
