The stability/traction control system won't have an issue with different brands and tread patterns on each axle. Consider that the front tires wear quicker than the rears and the the system handles that just fine. So I wouldn't worry about different brands, tread patterns, etc as long as each axle has same on both sides.I stand corrected.
Correct me again if wrong, Just a geared differential on each axis for AWD? Maybe to add having different wheels/tires can confuse the computers stability/traction control as well?
