Navigation Updater on a Mac

My 2023 I5 got the online software update (i.e., the new Seat Ventilation menu, etc.) but I haven't seen the Navigation update. So I downloaded the Navigation update program, created a exFat USB 64GB thumb drive and started the download process. After more than an hour it was at 73% and there was no download activity (I have a monitor so I can see what is happening). The Updater app does show a little CPU activity but the program is stalled. The Updater was running on my macStudio and I have a 1 GB internet connection. Is this just the usual "We don't know how to write software for Macs" (the program is Intel and is running under the Apple emulator) or "We don't have adequate internet resources" or something else. I have a Windows 11 laptop and I can try that, but this is kind of ridiculous.

Same here: 2017 iMac running Monterey and the updater works well. One thought: if you have updated in the past, delete the updater app on your iMac first and use the latest, newest updater app each time. I didn’t do this once and the update never did complete a proper download to my USB drive. After updating the app, it worked flawlessly. Good luck.
