I've been tracking the Morning Lisa, the ship carrying my car, for just over a month and just as it gets close (due to dock today) it goes and turns around in the English Channel and starts to head West!! Hopefully a minor detour and the captain hasn't realised he's left his oven turned on back in Korea!!

(Morning Lisa has a dashed square around it)

Thanks Blue, it was originally due in today. The pilot things sounds like it makes sense. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

LOL..Though my dealer assures me that my car is in the UK ( this was last Saturday ) I have the odd feeling that its on the morning Lisa.

Reason : No VIN given so far . But AFAIK every hyundai dealer should be able to get the VIN?

normal only 7-10 days from landing to hand over I think

yes they should be able to see a vin number once the car is allocated and given a production date I believe
That is correct, I believe. VIN number is assigned before the production starts, from what I understand of the process. The car gets on the ship about four weeks after the VIN is assigned.
