Thanks..i found it pretty hard to get a decent light improvement without looking a bit silly. The longer curved in black was about the least silly I could come up with.
They can't go any lower at all due to parking sensors going off...(it surprised me how wide the sensor angle was)

Another Australian owner here and I agree, standard high beam seems a bit weak for our country roads. This is an interesting solution. I wonder if Hyundai has higher power LEDs available?

I have been unable to find any reference to the continuous current available from the DC/DC converter supplying the 12V circuit. I note that the interior 12V sockets are rated at 180W but this is I believe a current rating for the socket not for the converter.

It is probably safe to run up to around 180W in any case - but it would be comforting to actually know what the available current is.

I've asked my dealer and they have no idea. Has anyone escalated this question to the Hyundai technical team?
