lane keeping assist keeping too close to one side?

Hi everyone,

We collected our Ultimate T+E yesterday, and took it for a 150 mile trip right out the dealer. I have noticed that when the steering assist and cruise control is on, the car keeps us almost on top of the right side lane, possibly even driving us through the lane. I have not tried if it would drive us through, as during cornering, I feel that we would hit a car if I let the car do the turn so had to interfere all the time.
Our previous Tiguan 19' ACC with lane keep assist was keeping us perfectly in the middle, however I don't feel this with the i5.

Has anyone noticed the same? Is this was some people say that the cars' HDA is a bit weird..?
the calibration must be off. Mine is centering about 2 feet left lane markers.

I think this is done on purpose and not a calibrating issue. It has something to do with which side you’re driving on. LHD cars will be closer to the right while RHD cars will be closer to the left, makes sense for one-lane country roads, so you have a little more room against oncoming traffic. But on the freeway/highway not great sometimes, especially when passing a large semi/truck.
Wrong ! My hugs drivers side
