Great minds think alike!

I've been taking some notes so I can post a differences thread. I want to wait until I have the LTD at least a month before writing it up since I had the SEL for 6 months or so before I was crashed. Just to make sure I'm not posting based on things that I notice consistently rather than just an initial "oh I have a sunroof now" :)
😏Sunroof makes its head room in the back seat decreased? But you don't sit there, ha,ha.

FWIW, I once ran a Toyota(?) fob through a wash cycle with the laundry. Didn't faze it at all. When I opened it up to check I could see why. The circuit board was enclosed in a tidy little silicone molding that would likely protect it from immersion for days. Swim with it, dive to the bottom of the deep end, push all the buttons, no issue.

I've opened others since then, all with similar construction. So my expectation now is that Hyundai's fob will perform as well, and if not there will be simply no excuse for it.

I wonder what it costs to replace a fob and have it paired with the car?
"No problem is so big or so complicated that it can't be run away from".
Use the spare and let the next buyer solvethe issue when you trade the car?
Plastic "blings" does not protect anything but scratches and dents.
