I just tap the power button. I'd probably have to futz around searching for the parking brake control as I have no muscle memory for it: I haven't manually engaged or disengaged the parking brake since they did the update that automatically set it on power down and released it when you shift out of park.

I use P first because the Garage Door control on my rearview won’t work unless my Ioniq6 is powered up.

For coming home? I use the garage door button on the rearview mirror about 1/2 block down the street when coming home. Door is then pretty much fully open as I pull into the driveway.
