Ioniq 5 washer jets

Hi

Quick question

Is this normal for an Ioniq 5? The washer jets just seem to spray everywhere rather than in direct jets and they are not adjustable (I tried to upload a video but it seems it doesn't like mp4 format).

Looks like pretty good coverage to me.

Much better than mine, mine goes very low on the windshield, just above the wipers.
I would hope that would be considered normal for any car.

Did you own a car that sprayed one jet of water as opposed to fan coverage?

All of my previous cars only had 1 jet of water each side, although the Audi had 3 each side

I feel better knowing this is normal but also feel like I've missed out all these years

After two months of ownership, I'm still amazed at how quickly the washers spray when you hit the stalk. Every car I've owned there's been a slight delay between pulling the stalk and the washer starting to spray, as the pump spins up and pressure builds. Ioniq 5, pull the stalk - instant water.

It's the little things that make the difference between perfectly acceptable and just a cut above.

Are they adjustable at all?
my car is a ioniq 2021 self charging hybrid. The washer jet on the driver side is good but on passenger side it sprays far to low only just hits window screen. The manufactures say you carnt ajust them this is crap for a £32000 car any ideas please.
Both of mine spray too high. Pretty much wash the roof every time I go to use them :(

I have adjusted them in the past by putting a needle into the squirter and adjusting it slightly to where it was needed. maybe you have something in there blocking the correct spray.
Driver's side jet on my Ioniq 38 got blocked, so I took it out & had to 2mm drill from the bottom to create a passage again. But in the process I looked on eBay, and found a load of Hyundai-compatible jets, some of which have the traditional drilled-spheres that you can aim using a pin. Wouldn't surprise me if Ioniq 5 uses the same jets? Here's the thread with pics, might be some use here: Washer Jets
and should be easy enough to swap to a different design.
