Following - need 2" receiver for US Ioniq SEL. I have installed hitches on VW ID4 and Toyota RAV4 Prime.
Anyone have the part number for the Australia 2" hitch receiver ? (Might look at fit and order from overseas)

That is perfect, but I’m getting the feeling they only ship to Canada. Going to find out.
On there website, they say they ship only in Canada and shipping price will vary depending on where to ship. This said, a call cost near nothing to confirm it if true :

About cutting the bumper, they say it's needed there with the instruction: http://www.srgattacheremorque.com/down/produits/documents/20085.pdf

I called them, the funny thing, she said the bilingual clerk is gone now and she say she have some difficulty with speaking in English and today she said she got a lot English speaking people and she didn't know why.

In résumé, she confirmed to me they only ship inside Canada.
The 199$ advertised price in Cnd $ for the 2 inch is not a mistake, it's the real price, it's only because this 2 inch come with nothing, the 1 1/4 cost more because it come with the tongue and lock, not the 2 inch.
Installation is 425$ cad. At this price you get the hitch and wire harness installed too.
I asked to know if they have a place near where I'm for installation, they have associated places, but not where I'm.

Where personally I hesitate, is about the wiring harness, in the picture provided it show like not quick connect harness and an unknow brand (Fused ?).
My question, is the I5 can use the same Curt trailer module as the Ioniq ? Or do Hyundai modified wiring for the the I5 ?
I ask because for now I found this kit: Custom Wiring Harness, 4-Way Flat Output, Select Hyundai Ioniq

Hi guys, looking for a receiver hitch for my Ioniq 5 so I can install a bike rack for the summer. Also looking for a roof rack for our family road trips the summer.

Thx in advance,

Mike
I got Thule installed for roof rack and avaliable on Thule website under Ioniq 5. For trailer hitch I am ordering from Rack Attack Vancouver, Canada.

I installed the SRG hitch over the weekend using this install guide --> Ioniq-5-towbar-fitting-guide-etowbars.pdf The SRG install manual is certainly lacking and more pics would have been appreciated - torque specs would have been great too.

I've removed bumpers before and this one was a little more difficult. The hardest part was releasing the leading edges of the bumper from the holders/clips - this wasn't mentioned or indicated in the install manual I used. I went with the 1 1/4" option as all I need is to carry a bike rack so no hitch wiring was installed. The hitch sits right below the silver part of the bumper - essentially right below the bumper cover (no cutting is needed on the bumper cover). So ground clearance to the bumper has been reduced by the dimensions of the 1 1/4" receiver.

Overall it's a sturdy unit but will slightly reduce ground clearance.

Any chance you can post some pics of the setup? what cut out was required etc. Its seemingly one of the cheaper options in Canada so considering it vs say the new stealth hitch option which is likely to be 2-3 times the price!

I would be interested in the distance of the receiver to the ground.

I ended up cutting a small opening in the actual bumper which wasn't needed - the SRG instructions were not clear and my measurements led me to believe it was needed so don't make the same mistake I did! So I'm not stoked on posting pics.

This is the part that needs cutting and you can leave a few mm towards the front of the car.

Thanks so much for sharing your install experience.
I havn't called them yet to get a quote on installation here in Ottawa/Gatineau, but based on what you've shown, I may decide to do it myself... once we have warmer weather.
