Current deposit holders on the national list? They have to sell at MSRP to people who put down deposits, however, they will use the 2023 pricing.
My understanding it has to be a used car to be sold above MSRP in Canada. Is a big reason why the car is relatively cheap in Canada compared to US prices. There dealers can sell new cars above MSRP by tagging a Market adjustment fee. Also I think it means cars are preferred to be allocated to the US. Cars on lots or in transit to dealers there with no pre-ordering.

I don't regret taking back my I5 deposit. The M3 tech is just better, again my personal opinion and everyone is different. I especially love the extra security feature Sentry mode.
If I were to think about Hyundai again, I would preorder the I6.
