How many years do you think Hyundai will continue to produce the Ioniq 38, is their product refresh cycle every 3 years so we may see an end to the 38 production in 2022?

Interesting qn. The blurb about the new GMP platform suggests they're looking at a Sedan & an SUV coming along. I think the floorplan of the Ioniq hatchback is rather slimmer & smaller than the Ioniq 5, so whether it shrinks to suit smaller hatches & city cars will be interesting to see.

My guess is the Ioniq 38 is dead in the 2020 Model year in USA. I have not seen a 2021 and the new “skateboard” platform Ioniq 5 car was released today. There are no Ioniq Electrics listed for the 2021 model year on the website. Also no Ioniq hybrids.
