Hello forum!

I'll receive my new EV - Ioniq 30th of June in the Netherlands and am happy to start logging the kilometers after that date. Since I am an renewable energy consultant I saw it only fitting to get the most efficient electric vehicle in the current market as our new car. Allthough my wife will be the main driver since I can ride my bike to work I will try to log it's performance during my ownership.

Hope to keep up with interesting news and discussions on this forum.

Greetings, Boukev :nerd:

Hoi jan.

Her Daily trip is just 60 km in total so perfect for an electric. We have just about 6 to 7 long trips each year. All other trips are below 120km. Small question. Do you know if they can install the 6.6kwh charger on a 1x35A home main connection? I assume it takes 28A but not sure at what location in the meter it is installed. Since the 16A groups are too low or is it a double group like for an electric plate which we already have?

Btw thanks for your mileage graphs it helped us a lot.!

These distances are quite good for the Ioniq.

I wonder if for a 1x35A connection it is easy to do, as you would only keep 7A for the whole house. You better can ask the dealer or an installer about it.
