What are they like to live with?

I know they are the 25w discharge system, without auto levellers and washers.

I have had 35w duscharge lamps on a previous VW and the current VW Mk6 Golf I have has halogens, but are very good.

Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on the 25w discharge systems?

Thanks.

I would rather have LEDs than xenon because of the lengthy warm up time before full output for the latter. This is one important area where Toyota bests Hyundai and most other makes. Toyota offers LEDs standard on even their inexpensive cars.

they warm up really quick (seconds I would say)

the main beam is not as good as would have expected, but dip beam is good

I got in the wifes citigo tonight and wondered if her lights were on, or had I only turned them to side lights, so yes big improvement over the halogens

Thanks.

Thats useful. Not much I can do about it anyway, car is ordered ;-)

Having driven cars with good headlights, both xenon and good quality halogens, I was just curious about the 25w variants.
