My Ioniq 5 has been displaying this for 2 days now, is this typical?

There have been several threads discussing this, with some seeing days pass.

The OTA updates on older models were limited to the infotainment and nav systems, so probably less data to download. These updates continued when the car was off...

ccNC models can update more of the modules in the system, so it can take longer, and might only download while the car is in range of an internet connection (Verizon in the US), and while the car is on.

It might speed up if you leave the car parked outside (better signal) and running for a long period. Just speculating, but perhaps the 2 days is limited operating time and delaying while the car is off?

There could be enough ccNC model owners on the forum who have experienced updates, so maybe they can shed more light?

Well I got an alert yesterday that the download was complete. Now I have to wait for it to be installed, we'll see if that happened overnight. I'm a bit surprised that there isn't an option to connect to the car to external WiFi for things like this - our Bolt has it as an option (oh and walk away door lock by default too!) :)

There are a lot of great features on the Bolt. Kind of amazing in such a budget econobox!

But Bolt OTA updates are infotainment only, and extremely rare. My Bolt went 7 years with a single OTA update to the infotainment system...and it basically just removed the ability to watch videos on the Car Play/AA screens when parked.
