2020 Hyundai Ioniq Plugin hybrid will not charge. I had it on an extension cord. It is showing a red fault icon and a red car icon when plugged into the car. Also after removing it from the cord it still shows the error on the charger. HELP

Have you tried changing the charge rate from high (the default I think) to medium or low?
Can you try charging without the extension cord?
Can you try a different outlet?
If its a new car have you ever successfully charged at home with the included charge cord?
Do you plug the cord into the outlet first, then plug the charge cable into the car?

Glad to hear you got it all straightened out. Upgrading the wiring makes sense. You don't want to be overloading circuits or overheating cords. This is the first I've heard of needing to put the parking break on though. But I have a 2018, not 2020 model. Enjoy EV mode.
